Nevada is a 10 seed… send all your hate messages to Joe Lunardi who has Rhode Island as a #5 and Nevada at an #8 seed even though head to head, Nevada won. Quad 1 this Quad 2 that… Nevada hasn’t done anything but defeated Rhode Island. They lost to UNLV at home. They also lost at home to San Francisco… So.. St. Mary’s is ahead of them because the West Coast Conference is better than the Mountain West.

Bill Walton needs a new Conference of Champions, because the PAC 12 isn’t that this year… I dropped USC and UCLA out after looking over the schedules… Syracuse and Baylor deserve to be in over them.

Going to be a crazy finish with so many bubble teams and a single win could determine who is in or out. UCLA has wins against Kentucky and @ Arizona, impressive… But they’ve lost to Colorado, Stanford, and Oregon State. USC has lost to SMU, Princeton, and Stanford… The best win they have is against Middle Tennesssee… That’s a pretty awful resume in my opinion… UCLA has a better chance than USC of making the tournament.

Another crazy Saturday…. A lot of changes… as always check out http://www.bracketmatrix.com/ to see many other bracket predictions that are probably better than mine… I want to put Baylor in the tournament, but Texas winning at Oklahoma put them in over Baylor. I think the PAC 12 may just get 3 teams in. UCLA got lucky tonight playing Oregon, so I’m leaving them in for now. Nebraska didn’t play, but I dropped them down behind Syracuse (won at Miami), and Baylor (won at home against Texas Tech) in the First Four Out. I really think Syracuse and Baylor should be in, but who deserves to be moved out? No one at this point. Not many games left in the regular season…
